Because I'm talking to these lovely gentlemen today as you see we have an unfamiliar face.

However, he is familiar to me. He is a wonderful friend of mine. Welcome, Parker Flack.

What's up? How you all doing?

Well, I got a pause. Wow.

Wasn't expecting that. Shout out to our new mixer. That kind of works.

This is the quarter mile podcast. This is about all of the Fast and Furious episodes. We are on

episode five of the quarter mile podcast and all of our social medias are the quarter mile podcast

So who are you?

I'm Tyler.

Do us a little bit about yourself, Parker.

Yeah, so I'm Parker. I'm a college student. I go to University of Memphis at Lambeth.

I'm studying music over there. Of course, I don't play instruments, don't sing or anything.

So, I'm a tech guy, so do all the sounds.

You do play instruments, though. You play a little boogie.

I do. I do. I play a box called a cahone.

You do. I love that.

But you also play the discs.

Oh, that's right. It's right.

You are a disc jockey, bro.

It's my little side business I got going on.

I wish we had it.

I was hoping for like a scratching effect.

Exactly.

And one question, we kind of, we entered our first episode.

We asked our last guest, you know, we have video in us right now.

So shout out to Alan who exists in this very room.

What is your relationship with Fast and Furious?

Like tell us about your fandom.

How much you care?

Yeah.

That define the relationship with us.

Gonna be honest, I never watched it until last summer.

Wow.

Especially when I never watched it.

Wow.

I'd always thought about it.

I've always liked cars and I was just like, I'm gonna watch it.

Yeah.

Had some time and so.

A fun fact about Parker is he's legitimately the first person in the world

that commented on one of our Instagram posts or something.

Oh, geez.

He was like the first comment of all platforms.

Like we get a lot now on Reddit.

We get a lot of flavorful comments on TikTok.

And we get some nice comments on Facebook and Instagram.

But Parker was the first one.

And I do feel like we need to address this a little bit.

Because I'll never forget his comment.

One, I was so cool to see someone who I didn't know respond to the comment.

I mean, I figured Bailey knew him.

But it was just nice to see another human read what we post

when we were getting ready for the to start this podcast.

But when you're asking about people's movie rankings,

his exact quote, I'll never forget because this is our first comment.

He said, "Tokyo drift all day every day."

So am I to believe that Tokyo drift is your favorite movie?

Yeah, it is.

It is.

I love Tokyo drift.

And why?

Yeah.

I love cars like the JDM KDM cars, all the Japanese and Korean cars.

And just seeing a bunch of those was really cool for me.

A lot of the cars I like were in there.

So it just, it's one of the reasons I like it so much.

That doesn't make sense.

I mean, it does have the most Japanese cars of all 10 Fast and Furious movies.

Exactly.

I would assume Tokyo drift.

I mean, he didn't say things like, and the plot was just the best of the movie.

I loved the car.

The part was in the best.

All the slow mo.

But, you know, it's just the drifting.

I like drifting.

I watched drifting sometimes.

So it was just...

Have you ever tried drifting?

No.

You're in a racing though.

Yeah, really?

I was when I was kid a lot.

So, yeah.

Oh, that's so great.

Like, you yourself were racing or you just enjoyed racing?

No, so I just really liked it a lot.

I'm throwing you into the fire.

Yeah, I liked NASCAR a lot in a lot of racing like that.

You recently went?

Yeah, so...

Like a couple years back.

Yeah, so it's been a while.

The last racing thing I went to, I went to like a motorcross thing last year.

It's what I'm having a cool day.

Yeah, cool.

Yeah, so it's been a while since racing.

So, yeah.

Before we get into Fast 5, we want to take a minute.

We haven't had a ton of responses to our last episode because we are filming it a little earlier.

A filming for this episode a little earlier than we usually do.

And I almost skipped this section, but we had a really cool comment.

This was from Nile Stark on TikTok.

Fun fact, originally Fast 4 was set to be a dom solo movie

before they decided to bring back Brian.

I think that'd be kind of cool.

A movie, like, because we already saw kind of what went on with Brian and two Fast 2 Furious.

Like, it would have been cool to see a movie about just Dominic Torreto on the run.

And what was he doing, you know?

Yeah.

I think that would be cool.

Because I was confused.

Right?

You're like, "Wait a minute."

So, I know he's here.

They said he just went there.

But, like, then you have a little brief moment where you don't know where the crap he is.

Yeah, no.

I don't know if he ever really addresses it.

I guess he does.

He does it on the run.

There's not really much of an addressing.

He just ends up back in Brazil.

This is an awesome movie.

It is by many standards.

People say it's the best.

Currently in our ratings, it's the,

voted the second best with the first one still being the best.

But...

That's right.

So, fun fact about this movie.

It came out in 2011.

And I remember that because I was a year out of college.

I just got my first big boy job,

full-time youth ministry in a church in Richmond, Kentucky.

And this was my first...

Because for those of you for some reason,

you decided to tune in for the first time to the fifth episode

of a fifth movie in a series.

And you don't know anything about me.

Every time a new Fast and Furious movie comes out,

I marathon it.

I call it, it's now called Furious.

We're gonna make it a national holiday one day.

Sounds great.

It started when I was in high school and there was just like three movies.

So it wasn't that big of a deal.

It was just like a sleepover with a friend.

And then we just watched the movies.

The Holy Trinity.

Yeah, it was, it was fun, it was a good time.

But this movie was the first time that I,

and it was at that time, it was just a Furious day.

It was just five movies.

But this is the first time that in my own house,

like my friends came from other parts to like,

we, because this is a tradition.

You have to watch these movies.

It's probably in the Bible somewhere.

I don't know.

Um, right now.

Right now.

So this is the first time that I could do my Furious tradition

in my own house as an adult.

And I, well, one, I felt like I had no life.

Like I was like, maybe I should get a girlfriend.

I don't know.

But then it was like, this is really cool.

So, Bailey, what were you doing in 2011?

When Fast Five came out?

I was going through a lot of drama.

Drama?

Or drama?

Trauma.

Were you still in the hospital?

Still hospital stuff.

So that was going on, I think, 2009,

and then also, just in a thousand.

But I'm pretty sure, I'm pretty sure we got a dog.

Okay. Well, that's good.

I'm pretty sure that's when we got mooshy.

I'm pretty sure I was 10 when we got mooshy.

So it was like 10, 11 area.

Okay.

I went through all that stuff still.

But yeah, I, I think I was in a little brief

catching break of my, my hospitals,

though, so I was probably wanting to play basketball

and then told that I wasn't allowed to play basketball.

Oh, did you ever, did you ever get well enough to play basketball?

No, it was the fact that I wasn't allowed to play basketball

from the doctors because they didn't want it to hit my head.

Oh, okay.

That's, that's, that's a bit different.

I just decided to not do that,

but to do Taekwondo and then trick writing,

but also volleyball and then soccer.

And everything else that they told me

didn't tell me anything about because I didn't ask.

Okay. So two questions.

One, I feel like volleyball and soccer,

you also would get hit in the head.

Yes.

Also Taekwondo, that seems like a pretty contact sport.

I was younger though for Taekwondo.

That was my, like, kid sport, I guess.

Yeah.

That was for seven years, but yeah.

And then what is trick writing?

Trick writing, that is, like, I didn't do shows or anything,

but I just practiced for fun practically with some family friends

and it's doing, like, tricks and flips, soft of horses.

That's cool.

On horses, like while they ride or while they stand.

Yeah, and while they're hard things, I never knew.

You stand on the core, yeah.

So I know, is trick writing or writing?

Because I heard writing, writing, writing, okay, like writing a horse or,

yeah, okay, so it's, that makes so much more sense.

Hard core, but, all core.

Like, hard core on a horse.

A question in parkour.

Interesting.

Yeah.

Love that.

Do you still do it?

Please say you still do it.

That was, I was like 13.

I was like 13.

I was like 13 when I did that.

Well, if we can get three people in basketball in the Olympics,

we should have that.

I have no idea, but I'm sure you can do basketball in a horse.

What was going on in your life?

Well, I was probably like eight or nine.

And I can't remember.

We brought it up.

Can we, yeah, well, let's just take a moment

and appreciate Parker's Fast and Furious 2 car

with Paul Walker/Briano Connor.

We can zoom into it.

With eight or nine year old,

you, would that would have been like one of your go-to toys?

Probably not Legos.

Because.

Are you too good for Legos?

I don't know.

I just wasn't really into Legos.

I guess when I was younger, it was all just Hot Wheels.

And it was cheaper, so my parents liked it.

Famous.

But yeah, but no, honestly, probably.

Yeah.

Court.

Probably liked it.

So Legos were cheap for us because they were hand-me-downs.

Yeah, true.

I'm sure.

That's the thing about--

Once you get a box of Legos, it's your extra--

It was a box for--

I did add a box of Legos.

Literally a box of Legos, and I did play with that one.

So, yeah, but not full set, so there's normally a box.

Right.

It wasn't like completed sets of any of it.

It was just a ton of maybe mesh sets.

The multi-color, yeah.

Right.

Yeah.

Digression.

Love it.

Yeah, I was probably playing soccer.

Playing soccer.

I was in City League and playing the Wii.

So we were also playing soccer.

We were both playing soccer.

Probably, yeah.

Yeah.

Yeah.

OK.

I feel like I wasn't playing soccer.

I was playing soccer at that point, but when I was your all's age,

in the eight to ten area, I was also playing soccer.

So I feel like we're connected on that,

but I could mind a bit of a stretch.

And that's OK.

OK, so now we're going to do the AI plot summary, which

is probably everyone's favorite parts

that we do in this.

We ask our friends at AI to review the movie for us

And they do always such a bubbly and nice and wonderful job.

Today, we're diving into the adrenaline pumping

action-packed cinematic roller coaster known as Fast 5.

This isn't just a movie.

It's a nitrous, boosted thrill ride

that will have you gripping your seat and gasping for air.

The story kicks off with the legendary Dom Toretto

theme broken out of custody by his sister Mia

and his best friend, Brian O'Connor, setting the stage

for the most high-obtain family reunion you've ever seen.

What the law in their tail is this trio of speed demons

heads to the sultry streets of Rio de Janeiro to Lilo.

But in true, it's red-o-fashioned.

They end up right in the thick of it.

In Rio, they assemble the team of the best

willmen and women in the world,

putting the witty and charming-

See, they're not sexist.

Right.

- Putting the witty and charming Roman pierce

and the tech savvy taged Parker.

- So that was the tech guy?

- Yeah.

- Did you?

They were like-

- Tension was the tech guy.

- You know that he's like, yeah, I had a past before this.

That was how they explained it.

- She did.

- I had a life before this.

- That's all, okay.

- Their goal, question mark.

To pull off one last job to secure their freedom for good.

But this isn't just any job.

It's a $1 million highest.

- Yeah.

- Targeting the Caribbean business tycoon,

her nanareyes, who rolls Rio's

criminal underworld with a iron fist.

And you thought your Monday night was rough.

- Oh, it is.

- Mine is sometimes rough, the good.

- Yeah, it's not losing a million dollars, rough, but, you know.

As if this wasn't enough to get your heart racing,

insert DSS federal agent, Luke Hobbs,

a walking mountain of muscles.

Do you think he wrote that himself?

- Yeah, it was type in the rock was like, hey, you better

mention my muscles.

And then the AI just like roast them.

Who's as relentless as he is bald.

So, they get in the back of that.

Halt is on a mission to bring our beloved band

of outlaw suggestions, leading to a cat mouse game

that could outpace any high speed chase.

- The best five is a symphony of screeching tires

and exploding vehicles.

That's about right.

- Yeah.

- With a side of witty one liners in a macho banter

that will have you both laughing and clutching your imagine,

your imaginary seat belt.

The high scene, question mark.

Imagine Ocean's 11 meets Mad Max with a dash of mission

impossible.

- No.

- And then, did some, did add is some vehicular warfare

that defies the laws of physics.

Cars parachuting from planes.

- That doesn't happen to us, though.

- Yeah, no.

- Check.

Dragging a bait ball through the streets of Ruyo.

Double check.

As the plot twists and turns, the stakes get higher

and the chases get faster,

leading to a finale that's as explosive as it is satisfying.

Well, our heroes outpace the unstoppable hops.

Can they outsmart the ruthless reyes?

And most importantly, will they finally find the freedom

they yearn for on the open road?

So grab your popcorn and rev your engines

because Fast 5 delivers a cinematic experience

that's part heist movie, part family drama,

and an all-pedal to the metal excitement.

It's a story of loyalty, redemption,

and the lengths we go for, the people we love,

all wrapped up in a shiny chrome-plated package

that moves faster than a speeding bullet.

the only thing you need to know is that cars go fast

and family comes first.

So before we get into our own reviews and thoughts

about the movies, we're gonna do one of my favorite parts

which is share responses we've had from you all about Fast 5.

We took this, a lot of this month,

we took it to Reddit

and a lot of, usually Reddit's not known

for nice comments, but--

- Shout out to Reddit.

- But you know what?

Everyone who's been watching us

and then existing with us on Reddit,

I feel like you guys have been doing pretty good.

We've had minimal, we have an,

I'd like the creepy guy from YouTube.

- Good.

- Yeah, so we have an ad.

Okay, so Dr. BoJack16, which I'm sure is his name.

I'm sure he is a doctor.

He's named after BoJack Horseman

and he's probably 16.

He's probably a child of prodigy.

Dr. BoJack16 says,

"It's one of the best movies of all time."

That's not of Fast and Furious.

He said, "One of the best movies of all time."

- Wow.

- And he says, "It's so ridiculous that it's amazing."

And if you were to ask me to sum up

every single Fast and Furious movie,

I would say, "So ridiculous, it's amazing."

I feel like that's like a good, good go-to

for all of the movies that,

so thank you, Dr. BoJack16.

- Thank you, BoJack16.

- Appreciate it.

- Yeah.

- Doctor.

And then another user, right,

I don't remember the name,

but I remember it was like,

I couldn't pronounce it,

so I was like, "We're just gonna call him a Reddit user."

He said, "He or she, I don't know,

this person said five is where the franchise

found its identity.

It's not my favorite in the series,

but I'd say it's the best of the series.

Well-crafted, high-script, incredible set pieces

that cast all has their moments to shine,

and it's the introduction of Hobbs as the antagonist.

And that's always something I forget about that movie,

is that Hobbs is not actually,

- The tension.

- Yeah, he's not supposed to be the good guy of the movie.

- But the tension,

- Yeah, there's a lot of,

the tension was like, "Can he?"

- Yeah, he, uh, go ahead.

- He's so what he wanted me to wait for it.

- I just agree.

He's like, "Yeah, I don't have anything else, yeah."

- All I'm saying is,

the rock was bustin' out of these buildings chasing people,

but then it's like, this moment,

where you see in romcoms where like,

the one pops up, and it's like,

"Hah, then the lights and stuff pop out."

And you know, they flip their hands,

it's like slow motion.

That's exactly what that moment was when he saw Dom

on the rooftop,

because they had a brief like, eye lock moment

where they were like, "Oh my gosh."

- I think someone--

- You're the perfect person to chase,

and then they just went for it,

'cause they were like equally, like,

(imitates man hums)

- It was like, "Major man crush on you."

- Like, "Major, like both were just like,

"Major man."

And it's like, "Urgh, he's like equal."

- So that's like, "Come in right off his head."

- Right, "Oh yeah."

- And he's like, "Oh yeah, that's the one."

- So every scene the rock was in,

as the movie progressed, he was progressively sweaty.

(laughs)

- He's like, "So much, you need a bucket."

- Yeah, what was going on?

- Walks right off that plane or whatever,

and I was like, "Dude."

- Yeah, he's already sweaty.

- What are you doing in there?

- It must be really hot.

- Yeah, or maybe that's just the event of an diesel,

I don't know, honestly.

- He just worked out the whole like 12 hour flight.

- Yeah, you know?

- What's Hobbs doing?

Oh, he's getting in a tight 30.

- Get a good comment.

- Yeah, I love it.

I bet he would though.

- What?

- Our last comment comes from one of our regulars,

Zach, he says, "Fast five with the introduction of Hobbs

into the fast verse."

I love that he calls it the fast verse.

- Nice.

- "Creates the opening for the storylines we never expected.

It makes me laugh.

Each time I see his team in their underarmor spandex shirts

and lathered in baby oil."

(laughs)

- That's what he puts hard and quite quotation marks.

So, yeah, glad we weren't the only ones that noticed that.

- Oh, thought they tried to hide the logo too,

'cause it was black.

(laughs)

- That's, like you can't hide that.

- Oh, absolutely.

- It's so nice.

- I'm signed with him.

Gotta be.

- Absolutely.

- Yeah.

- I'm pretty sure he's still signed with him, right?

- Yeah.

- That's some brand, with him.

- Yeah.

- Ever.

- And it's one of the things that movies like,

we're not gonna put it on too hard, but like we know,

we saw that.

- Yeah.

- Yeah.

- Yeah.

- "Face plot well with their own fast-versed spin."

I love that he keeps saying fast-vers.

Like it's like, it's now like that.

- It's a fast-versed.

- Yeah, it's like, you have the DCU, you have the MCU,

and you have the FU, I don't think they call that.

Let's not call that.

- We got the FU.

(laughs)

- F is for fun.

- Fun, serious.

- Fun.

- Friends, fire, bombs continue.

- All right.

These were questions he asked that came from these movies.

These are maybe questions we can ponder out

and hope you feel free to give your opinions.

How long would it take the average team of men

to completely restore a vehicle

that was taken apart down to the bolts?

And why is it longer than a few days?

It did.

That movie, it's only having a few days

and they took apart those cars so quickly.

- They really, okay, yeah.

And also, why did Hobbs, right?

Hobbs?

- Yeah.

- Why did he just assume that his team could like,

perfectly put together the car exactly how it was

without knowing exactly how it was beforehand.

- Yeah, and he was like, I need to done right now.

- I did that.

- We don't know.

- We're secret agents.

We know how to kill things.

We know how to find espionage.

You need us to go sneak in.

We don't know how to, like, none of us are gear heads.

- What, another certification they had to go through?

- That's what I say.

It's like, they had to find her,

but it went to like, mechanics school, like,

the world in cars for maybe.

Maybe this is the Department of Security.

It was a special, our home land security

and maybe knowing he was going after these specific criminals,

maybe he assembled like the only the car,

ex-secret agent car people.

- That's possible.

- Yeah, I bet you did his research

and he found only the best in the nation

or the car people.

Here's another question.

What exactly is the relationship between Dom and Elena

other than completely awkward?

- Yeah, what the crap is that?

- It was weird.

People talk about more, but like, yeah, just the--

- She used to rebound, or--

- Nothing was ever fleshed out.

- No. - So it was just kind of like--

- I think it was just a rebound.

- They were, they were like, both grieving

and they were connecting each other,

but that necklace was so weird.

- And she had an necklace on.

- Who sees police evidence

and after a crime scene?

- And where is it later?

- She's so stupid.

- And then he's like, let me break into her house and grab it.

- And then grab it, but like, sincerely.

- Yeah, it's like they were trying to do a will day,

will day not, but it never got there.

- It did it until, and did it all the way at the end of the movies.

- And they're like, oh, she's there.

- Oh my god.

- This is just a classic, fast and furious love story.

We've talked about earlier that they do a lot of thing

well in these movies.

Love and romance doesn't seem to--

But I mean, I don't know any fast and--

- It's exactly like the name though, it's fast and furious.

Like we've talked about, I think it has something

to do with the talk.

- Maybe they are doing it exactly the way they want.

I don't know.

Last question, and I actually have an answer this,

Zach asked, does anyone see Races on Dante who's in Fast 10?

You guys haven't seen that yet, but does anyone see him

in Fast 5?

And the answer to that is no.

There's no suggestion that the main villain in Fast 10

ever was in Fast 5.

It was absolutely probably, I mean, they do this thing

where they just takes story lines and invent new things

and that's part of the appeal of the movies.

Never is Rays the villain being like,

"Sorry, I gotta stop torching you.

"I gotta go to my kid soccer game."

Or someone like that.

We don't know, like, as far as we know,

there's no reference of Dante, but...

- De yandan?

- We'll get there on 10.

So, also the last thing he said,

and then we'll actually go into our own thoughts

of the movies, he said, "I really enjoy following your podcast.

"You all are so much fun to listen to,

"and the content is one of these things that I geek over."

- Yeah, so as I said earlier,

took your address, my favorite,

but this one, very big question it.

So, okay, I watched it yesterday before this,

and I was like, "Man, this is a really good one."

So, but it's still not my number one though.

Yeah, but I do really like it a lot.

- What were some of your favorite parts of the movie?

So first off, probably my favorite car,

'cause I've only seen through seven,

but my favorite car, the whole thing was right beginning,

is the black, like 71 skyline that's driving through.

- The wind was out in the movie.

- Yeah, so it's right when they're coming into Brazil,

and you see Brian them just randomly driving.

- Oh, okay, yeah.

- Is that all black car.

- So it's like when they were breaking him out of prison?

- No, it was right, you just see him driving through Rio,

like right beginning, before they stopped to go

- Oh, got it. - to get into jail.

- Yeah, so yeah.

- Then whatever happened to that car, is it just not.

I can't really remember, but I don't think it was anything else.

- Yeah, I don't think it was, I think he must have ditched it

when they got to-- - It was really nice.

- It was really nice, I was like, man.

- I believe you.

- It would be hard.

That would be hard if you were on the run,

and you're like, I can't, they identified my car,

and they always were driving such a nice car,

I'd be like, well, see ya.

- Whoopsie.

- That's definitely one of my favorite parts of the movie,

it's just saying what comes next?

'Cause I just disappear.

- Yeah. - I can tell there was

like a 3-7-EZ drifting, and I'm like, where did that go?

- At one point, I was like,

- Yeah. - EZ in like three seconds.

I think it was ludicrous driving it.

- Of course it was ludicrous.

- And of course. - Where did it go?

- You know? - Or if it was his own car.

- So the best part about this movie we were talking about

was how it brought all the characters back.

So one question I wanted for you guys was,

taking out Vin Diesel, Dominic Treto,

and Paul Walker, Brian O'Connor,

who is your favorite fast family member,

and why if you haven't answered that,

it's totally cool.

It's objective, or subjective rather.

- There's a lot of good characters.

- But yeah, to pick the one that you likes the best.

- Hans pretty cool. - Hans Pico.

- He's a cool guy.

- Yeah, I was about to say-- - Everything about him, cool.

- Yeah, Hans is probably, if you take away Dom,

he's probably Hans.

- Yeah, probably Hans.

- He had my favorite car in that movie too,

so he's a real good drift. - Yeah, oh!

- And then he got wrapped.

- And then he got-- - And then he got--

- I do love, I don't know anybody's names.

The guy that we said had a bromance with Paul Walker.

- Oh, a Roman.

- Roman. - Yeah, I love him.

- Is it, 'cause he's like, the comic,

like I love, he's my favorite, 'cause he's a star.

- Yeah, he's funny. - And he's like,

yeah, it's Dom's a, a lot of people like,

say like, oh, everything he says is Dom and stupid,

and whatever, but like that's the funny part.

- He's witty though, it's not like,

I mean, I know it's stupid,

but he knows it's stupid.

- But it's also weird, 'cause like, Vince,

I kinda like Vince for some reason.

- Yeah! - I know where's the bad news,

kind of like, let's talk about,

how do you feel about Vince Baylor?

I know when we talked about him in episode one,

you were not a fan,

but how did he redeem himself?

- I still don't like him.

- Why not? - Which is fine by now.

- Yeah, just, yeah, he's not gonna be back for it.

- That we know of.

- He's just, not--

- We know of, I mean, it's hard,

you can't really say anyone stays dead

in fast and furious, but-- - Right.

- So far.

- He's just, I don't know, he just,

he has weird vibes.

It's all I got, it's all I got.

- Yeah. - He just has weird vibes,

and he, he's skeptical in all the wrong ways.

- Yeah, well, he's sketched, like he'd be the creepy uncle

nobody wants to talk to the family.

- He's a negative, Nancy's skeptical.

He's not like a positive,

let's just try to see, I'm curious type of skeptic,

it's like, I'm skeptic, but judgmental,

and I wanna catch you in something.

- Okay, so, I've been thinking about this long and hard.

I think I like Vince's character.

I liked him in the first one because, yes,

he is completely a dishback, he's a terrible person,

but like he's trying, he's a flawed character,

like he's doing his best, right?

He is trying, he's just an awful human being.

- He's terrible. - God made him as an awful human being.

He can't help it.

But I mean, we said this in the first episode,

he was right about Paul Walker,

he was the only one about,

he called Ryan O'Connor, as a police officer.

- Ryan, he treated me a terribly, really rude.

- It just means that he had more brains.

- But yeah, he, if they had listened to him

from the beginning, Dominic Toretto wouldn't be on the run.

They would have figured, I mean, it would have,

- I'm sure if he could have saved the whole plot

for the bad guys.

- I mean, he'd make a call back to it in the movie, so.

- No, no.

- And in this movie, okay, in this movie,

he has a lot of loss, he was working for the bad guys,

but he was also just trying to pay for his kids

in a corrupt country, like he had a family,

- That's fair.

- All he knew in life was being a criminal,

like he was doing, and sure, he was double crossing them again.

- Yeah.

- Okay, so that, I don't have any doubts for--

- Oh my gosh.

- Thank you.

- That was real bad.

- To be fair, he was stepping them in the back again.

- Yeah.

- But it's fine, for me once, but no for me once.

- And then that's another thing is,

how dumb of it, how like, trusting--

- Yeah, that's fine.

- Yeah, their family, they'll come down.

- Your family, that's the like,

ridiculous.

- But like five seconds later.

- He was like, "I almost wish I didn't see that."

And it's like, "Well, Dom, maybe you, you see,

I mean, he got so big in that movie.

- Don't don't know, sister, and it's like--

- He got so big in that movie, that was probably what.

All the muscles were going to his brain.

He's like, "I used to be able to think,

but now I just have these muscles and family."

(laughing)

That's it.

- That's good strut to the head.

- Right.

(laughing)

- Yeah, the testosterone's messing with my--

(laughing)

- Speaking of testosterone, another character we have to talk about

is the introduction of agent Hobbs.

- Mm-hmm.

- Okay, so there's a lot of, there's a lot of,

and I think by eight, we'll absolutely talk about the beef

between Vin Diesel and the rock,

because that's the movie where it all came out.

There's a lot of speculation that I don't know

if you, when you look online, if you can find any,

for sure, like, "Oh, this is true."

My favorite speculation that people talk about

between Vin Diesel and the rock in their contracts,

because they're like action hero movie stars,

they are not allowed to actually lose a fight.

So when they scripted the fight between Vin Diesel and the rock,

they had to have an equal amount of punches and takedowns

and stuff like that, and neither one of the good technically lose,

so that's why the fight abruptly ended

with the testosterone hitting the ranch.

- So my theory of like the equal,

that's why he went after him, they were equal.

- Yeah, well, now someone needs to do this,

go do a punch counter on a YouTube video,

and count everyone to see if it's equal.

- So here's my favorite thing about Hobbes in this movie,

and I'm not sure if he gets as much awesome,

I love his cheesy lines.

I love the dumb lines, he says.

And I can't remember if in later movies,

he has just his stupid lines,

but when I was watching with my friends for this rewatch,

I actually wrote down my favorite dumb lines.

- I was going to do that.

- I was like gonna be your Bailey best.

- I wrote down three, and then an honorable mention,

but it's not as good as the fourth.

So when he goes and he's like,

"Well, make sure you have your thunderware on."

(laughing)

I think that might be his opening line,

is like, "Get your thunderware on, guys."

That's our introduction to Agent Hobbes.

- Nice.

- And then when he's talking to one of the underlings

in the underarm, he's like, "You know, I like my dessert first."

Then he was like, "Give me the damn veggies."

- That's what I know.

- I know.

- I want dessert to be like the people once again.

- Right, that really is.

- I think when they hired him,

they're like, "We just need you to be you."

- Just come up with things.

- Just come up and like, "How would you handle this scenario?"

(laughing)

So, and then when he's asking about more of an unraised,

like if he goes to the jaw,

I wanna know how many times he shakes it.

(laughing)

- That is a good one.

There's another honorable mention.

- Mine's mine.

- What's the honorable mention?

- Just when he randomly goes, "Yeah, like, you're smile."

(laughing)

- I'm like, "Come on."

(laughing)

- You could've said anything else.

I'm like, "What do you think you're her smile?"

- Yeah.

- And then she comes back later.

- I heard you got my smile.

I'm like, "Oh, cool."

- Yeah.

- That was the funny thing, 'cause like,

before you knew what was going on,

that was like, that the like,

should have formed a fast and furious.

I know we've talked about it for objectifying women

isn't really a rare thing in these movies.

- Right.

- So like, and everything you knew about Agent Hobbs

of the point, like, makes sense.

- Yeah.

- Yeah.

- But then you learn later,

you knew she was the only not corrupt police officer.

- I think it was just his way of being like,

yeah, he didn't tell you what happened.

- I can't tell you, but that's a good answer.

So, she did have a nice smile.

If we're being honest.

Not that that justifies being the reason why you pick it.

Anyway, there is a scene in this movie I want to talk about

because it, I feel like before I researched it,

I didn't give it enough credit,

but it might be the best scene in the entire series.

It was when they stole the police cars and they did that race, right?

When they have their four cars, they pull up

and they're like, "Let's make it a million."

And they're choosing to do a race.

That is such a well put together scene

because you have the main characters

in the first four movies.

And when they start racing, they all are racing

in their styles from the first four movies.

So you see Hawn very casually drifting around.

You see Roman throwing up the lights and being loud

and obnoxious like you guys this room.

Brian and Dom are still doing their competition thing.

- Oh yeah.

- And even though camera, it's showing them

in order of the movies, and it was kind of a way

to unite the series a little bit.

- I think my favorite part about was to heal it you in.

- Yeah.

- And when you're on your side, it was like, it was a gift.

- Yeah.

- Yeah, that was those cute.

- Yeah, by the way, the worst time that I've ever seen,

is like, I don't know where you're just in a sewer,

just getting out of it and you're like, "I'm pregnant."

- And after all that stuff,

after all the jumping and everything, I'm like,

did anyone think, "Maybe you're not pregnant?"

- Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm like,

is this a problem? - It's probably not good.

And then the way everybody else found it was,

no, she can't have one.

What do you mean?

Well, she can't.

- Oh, it's just such a weird.

- Oh my god.

- They could have done it better.

- Did you notice also in that scene,

they said, "Oh, she can't have one."

Everyone's so excited.

And then the next scene, she's drinking a beer.

- Yeah, she's holding one.

I noticed that.

So when they go to like, do the cheer,

she's holding one in her hand, and I'm like,

so obviously that was like something I decided later,

or if I just messed it up.

But I'm like, "Or maybe she went to the doctor

and then I just said, "I'm so sorry,

"but when you fell through a roof."

- Yeah, exactly, yeah.

- Yeah, accidents happen.

But hey, at least you can have a beer with your friends now.

- A beer a day.

- It keeps the doctor away.

- I really thought you were gonna say,

it keeps the baby away.

(laughing)

- Oh.

- Just call it a hop-sensha.

- You know, perfect.

You know how they could have fixed that scene

in one simple product.

She could have been drinking a snack one.

- That's not a best-selling snack one, right?

- She would have been a snack one.

- Yeah.

- And it would have been just fine.

And we were like, "Oh, she's still under age."

That's okay.

- Oh.

- That was not.

(laughing)

- This way it's not okay.

- Yeah, that's fine.

(laughing)

- We're five movies there.

We would hope.

- We would hope.

- Oh, God.

- Was this the first movie where we didn't have any incest

or domestic abuse or not great,

creepy foot guy from last movie?

I feel like this might have been like a,

oh my gosh.

- Well, I mean, there was the hand print.

- The hand print, yeah.

- The hand print.

- I mean, the hand print.

- Honestly though, unfortunately,

that's his side standard at this point.

- Yeah, yeah.

- So, no.

- No, that was, that was fast and furious trying to light it up.

Like, yeah.

- That was then being like, "No, this is just how the world

"were all part of it, unfortunately."

- We had it in the Apple G app, there was something in it.

- Use your powers.

- Yeah.

- Yeah.

- I just think Han played that, like,

his character at that moment.

- He was so smooth.

- Just him going, "Yes."

Like, he's always snacking in that one moment.

- He just, yep.

- He just couldn't do it.

- He was, he was satisfied with what was going on.

Yeah, he was not thinking about his addiction.

- Yeah, exactly.

- He was locked in.

- Honestly, I think that's why more women

should wear tighter bikinis at beaches to help us with

addictions, to help us not think about them as much.

Would you guys agree?

(laughing)

- Anyways.

- Well, that like me trying,

so now I need to re-say that.

Like, what I mean is like women should be valued as people.

And you know what?

Jacelle had plenty of other qualities to add to the team

other than that one bikini scene is what I meant to say.

- Yeah.

- That was not-

- No, but that was smart.

She was using her powers.

She was using what she had.

- Yeah.

- She knew this wasn't her complete control,

so I don't think that was actually sexist.

- Yeah, 'cause she chose-

- She chose to do it.

- She chose to do it.

- That's the whole point.

That's literally the whole point.

It's just the choice of it.

- Well, didn't she say it's like-

- Don't send a man in the end.

- Yeah, she said don't send a man in to do a woman's job.

And then she just went,

(imitating a man's job)

and then she walked up there and got that crap done.

- Yeah.

- So, you know.

- I love how it was the security guard too,

who looked and go, yeah, just go.

(laughing)

- I'm in the bouncer's.

- Your rate is time to-

- Bouncer just let women into the clubs.

- Didn't even check a list.

He was just like,

- Yeah, they don't care.

- But also like,

I mean, I'm not an expert in the security.

I couldn't be agent Hobbs or Sher,

but she walks in there.

Then when he lets her in,

she turns and looks at Hobbs like,

yeah, I don't worry.

- I got it.

- I got it.

- Yeah, that was the one part where I was like,

come on.

- Did anyone was like,

let's not let the strange woman who's flirting

with the guy who runs off like,

- And who did come for me?

- Do you ring out, who's straight on through?

- She's associated with them?

- Not yet.

- Do they not see that she's been hanging out

with the same people?

- Was that national terrorist?

- Was that after they were robbed?

- So he was already knowing that people were like,

fine, trying to rob them.

- It's like, you're a strange woman.

- What?

- It's clearly not Brazilian.

- I thought it was after that when you were--

- Was it after, okay, so.

- Yeah, 'cause they go,

oh crap, we've all been caught or whatever.

- Oh man, okay.

- Okay, so he was less on it.

But he personally had just been robbed though, I them,

before they were on the FDI list.

- True, true.

- He already was like,

I move him a money,

someone's after me.

'Cause he had already blocked out Brian and Dom.

It's kind of his fault.

I mean, like, yeah.

- Yeah.

- One fun part about this movie is the amazing amount

of plot holes that you can find.

It is a fun movie, it is super cool.

But here are some things that I noticed,

and I'd love to get our opinions on.

In the scene where they wanna get his attention,

they rob him,

and then they burn all of the money.

- Right.

- They steal all the money to start new lives.

- Right.

- I'm no genius.

- Don't say anything, you'll be said right to that.

I'm no genius, but if I was having a baby,

maybe after a perilous fight chasing with Agent Hobbs,

and maybe I need a lot more hospital bills than I thought.

Instead of burning the money,

but hey Dom, can we start our savings

with that money that we're about to burn?

- True.

- Right.

- Does that not bother you guys?

They were just like, we're gonna burn this.

- But at that point, did they already have their plan

made out what they were gonna do?

- Yeah, they knew they were gonna rob the rest of the money,

but you know what's better than like $100 million,

or like $100 million, like $100 million.

Like, I don't know.

- That is true.

- But they were trying to throw him off the track

because they were trying to be like,

this is what we're actually trying to do.

We're not trying to take your money,

we're trying to destroy you.

- That's true.

- 'Cause that hole, that whole scene there,

- We're not trying to steal from you.

- How they showed how it was burned.

- I don't know if you ever seen like, now you see me?

Those two guys, those are gonna remind me exactly of that.

- That's what I was thinking.

- And that was one of my favorite parts,

'cause I was like, how first off, how did the cops not see?

- Right.

- Right, see it.

But second up, like, it was just cool how they did it.

- Okay, so I think.

- See, this is why we talk about these things,

'cause now I feel like I have a better understanding

of this movie, so thank you for that moment.

- There was a lot going on honestly.

- Yeah. - Like the details of the movie for me is like,

explosion, explosion, running, still, fire,

explosion, explosion, race, fire, destruction,

explosion, explosion, boys, girls, but, and.

- You just described the perfect movie

that can every movie be just that.

(laughing)

Like that's all we need in movies.

That was like, thank you, Bailey.

I, that wasn't even a movie, but I was like,

yeah, that's pretty good.

I've watched it. - I had, I had,

I feel like my brain and the details and stuff like that

with all the, the racing, I think,

with how limited it was on like it being an exact race setup.

I'm like, I don't remember that,

but it's because it wasn't exactly like, ready, set, go.

- Yeah, race.

- We almost saw that, but then they cut it.

- There is, there's not. - There is, there's not.

- Like, nope, not this movie.

- Right. - This is different.

- Yeah, we don't, we don't do, this was the movie

where they went from like, street racing

to like, heist.

- Yeah, they're turning into their adventure action pact.

- Yeah, explosions.

- This is the start of where like, the movies are now.

- The superhero, unbelievable crap.

- Yeah, high start getting more and more expensive.

- That's very much. - Because as a car guy,

I noticed on the train that it was a,

- What was that?

- It was a 4GT 40, which they only made like,

200, 300 of those.

So like, that was actually like, they're,

everybody, like, it's one of the big things in the car world you want.

The Corvette was like, very rare.

I mean, I, that's the only time I ever seen one of those.

And the other car, I looked it up trying to find it

and it was only made for like 20 years or something

and I can't remember what it was called,

but it was some brand new car.

So it was definitely like, a concept car.

- That train scene where, where the car,

that was like, that was a real fact.

- Yeah. - That was like, they,

that wasn't really, yeah.

- Yeah, how cool, I mean,

that's kind of, I mean, they're still starting

to start wandering in Africa.

- Definitely. - Yeah, yeah, yeah.

- So it definitely made me pretty angry.

- Yeah, I saw the GT40 slide.

I was like, oh, don't do that.

- How is that? - 'Cause I know how expensive those are,

like, they're super rare.

And so that's one thing I noticed is,

as something the other way,

'cause I've watched through seven,

you can see that the cars keep on getting more expensive.

Like, they have the cone as like, in the end,

that they both pulled up.

Those are like, ultra rare too.

- Yeah, it's kind of cool to think about,

'cause like in the first movie,

when they had that big car race scene,

they didn't have the budget to get all those really cool cars,

so they put an ad out.

Or a note out to people who were like,

hey, if you have a really cool car

that you wanna be featured in a movie,

come bring it and now they have the kind of budget

where they can just willingly throw a car

into a train for a cool effect like that.

I mean, that's crazy.

- Yeah, like, yeah, that's one thing I like,

'cause like Skywines, right?

Like, you know, like, just like these,

like, they're not, they're desirable cars,

but they're not super, super expensive.

You're not gonna spend 300 grand for it,

'cause a lot of people buy 'em cheap and build 'em up.

And so it's very realistic, you know,

a lot of that kind of stuff,

and a lot of the cars you see are just normal cars

that they've tuned until you get more to the end,

they're driving like the Porsche, you know?

And all those, like it,

- And that must work so cool for the actors.

I can't help Paul Walker, like,

was a huge car guys, he was like a big fan of like,

the old BMWs, he had a lot of 'em.

- Yeah, understandable.

- Yeah, like he's not wrong, man.

- I'm good, I'm not wrong.

- I'm good, I'm not wrong, but I'm glad.

- I'm like, oh, that's weird.

I've never really seen him in one, I don't think.

I don't think you ever see him in one.

- I don't think that fits Brian O'Connor's character.

- A BMW, he's not a BMW guy.

- I'm sure it's a Paul Walker thing,

but the Brian O'Connor is more like college race car.

- All right, the frapper one never grows up.

- Reverse in and put it in, flicking everyone off,

that kind of stuff.

- Yeah, thanks to the fact.

- I do like it, like the very end,

their last two cars are doing

where the brand new ones at the year,

like the brand new GTR Sky,

where they're in in like the new charger.

Like I like those points,

like every movie, it's like the brand new one

comes at some point, or you see someone,

which I thought that was pretty cool.

- That's cool.

- Do you guys have any other thoughts

about this movie before we go on

with our next segment of the show?

- I mean, really not minus between the Rock and Vendizel

and their beef outside of things,

along with their beef inside of the movie.

- That was a really cool fight, Sam.

- It was so cool, but also like,

what was it?

(laughing)

- I didn't really get anything out of it, honestly.

It was cool.

I just, nothing happened, really.

- No, 'cause contractually, you know?

- It's by contract, so.

- It's by contract, it's just a constant buildup

for nothing to happen.

- And like I don't love,

I don't love that kind of the trend

with all the fast and furious movies is like,

someone's after them and then they end up joining them.

- Right.

- Totally made sense for Paul Walker.

- Right.

- But like if you think about it,

at the end of the movie, like,

Hobbs was doing the same thing that Brian O'Connor,

like it was like, "Oh, you fell for him just like,

"you know, Brian did.

"This is how he lost his job."

- Yeah.

- And so like, I liked that Hobbs,

the Rock was like the end antagonist,

the antagonist, the antagonist.

He, I mean, Riz was the bad guy,

but Hobbs wasn't a good guy.

He was after the main characters, you know?

He was, and I got that in this plot

that he joined him for a little bit,

but like it was just weird at the end of the movie

when like he caught, he saw how they like,

switched out the safe and all that.

And he was like smiling and impressed with them.

I mean, you're gonna have to go back to your,

the families of the people that just died

and tell them that their dad's not coming home.

You just lost tons of money.

Like you didn't accomplish your mission.

You just let the guy go.

- Yeah, as well as if he literally,

and he vocalized that he was letting them go.

- Yeah, in front of, yeah.

- Oh, go ahead, so.

- I was just saying in front of people,

so he had witnesses as well.

- Yeah, and it's just,

- By law.

- And it ended him like, well, you know,

you're winsome when you lose.

- Yeah, I'm looking into him.

- Like, like, the weird thing about that scene too

is when they, like you would expect the car to be gone,

by the time he was back, it's still there.

Like they could have caught him.

Let's be honest, I just, some like,

I mean, maybe, maybe a better way,

they could have done that scene is like,

he still wants to get him, but he turns, they're gone,

and he just has to be like, man, they're good.

But I think it would have been cool if, like,

he sees them jumping the car, they go, then it goes,

and it's like, did he ever catch up to him at all?

But then you couldn't do the final scene there,

but it would have been pretty cool.

- It would have led into like,

- 'Cause you could have just, yeah,

you could have just opened the next movie with that.

Did you guys catch the end credit scene of this movie?

Did you know that this is the first one to have an end credit?

- Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

I watched the end credit scene.

Are we allowed to talk about the thing that we see at the end?

- Absolutely, listen, if someone hasn't been fast-fived yet,

and they're worried about spoilers,

does it make a game out of the 20s?

- 'Cause it's pretty freaking obvious at this point.

It's letty that shows, (laughs)

because it ends up being like,

what is it, like a crime or something that happens?

- Yeah, it will, and the plot of the next movie directly taught,

I mean, it's just part of like that.

- Is it even then does that pop stuff?

- Right, and yet that's another agent.

- She comes up and she's not even credited in the movie.

- Right.

- But she was supposed to be in later movies.

- She was in the end.

- But we never see her again.

(laughs)

- I never see her again.

- So she's in the end credit,

it's not credited for the end credit.

- And then just, we just don't.

- I think one of the, maybe was 10 or nine,

they wanted to have her in it,

but she was filming another movie.

But now, I would have loved to see her in six or in seven

because Paul Walker was still in those movies,

not to be a downer, but her character

makes sense only with his character.

Like if she came back in fast 11,

whenever she comes up in an interox,

they'd be like, who the heck are you?

- Is that what, that was the second one?

- Yeah, 'cause they pertained.

- Yeah, maybe Roman would know her.

- I would say Roman is about the only person

other than Paul Walker.

- Yeah, I would love to see Eva Mendes back,

but I don't have any idea how it would go in with the audience.

- I don't know how she would honestly fit in with anything.

I really don't.

Unless she do like some side story

where the whole time in the background,

she was the one who was climbing everything.

- She really was a double agent.

- Like she was a double agent.

- And the Carter comes back,

which is what we wanted from the second movie.

- Oh, yeah.

- And his sidekick, the foot guy.

- No.

Let's make this, that's fast 12.

- I haven't seen past seven,

so I don't know what happens in the movie.

- I think we just wrote 13 is what I think happens.

- Sounds good.

- Look at 12.

- Well, there's only up to 10 now.

- There will be 11.

- 'Cause I think he just wrote 25 or something like that.

- Yeah, it's coming out next year.

- Oh, that's something.

But I don't know.

- This is an interesting fact.

During the an onset interview for Fast and Furious 6,

Michelle Rodriguez who plays Letti revealed

that she didn't know about the twist ending to Fast 5

until she actually saw the movie.

- Oh, what?

- Somebody was like,

"Hey, would you be interested in going back

until she saw the movie?"

And she was like,

"Maybe I'm interested."

- Maybe I'm coming back.

- What the crap?

- So when she filmed that, she never...

- They just took a picture of her.

- Oh, that's right.

- Oh, yeah, that's right.

- So.

- Sounds a little unsolicited, man.

- What if she was like, "No, I don't wanna come back."

- That's what I was wondering.

- And then the whole movie's like,

"Letti's still alive and the thing they're like,

"Wait, no, she's not."

- No, she's not.

- Sorry.

- She died during that crime.

- What do we think of the villains for this one, Bailey?

- Um, this guy,

- That word, huh?

That's how I feel about it too, yeah.

- I know, he just kind of seems like he's just a big money guy.

- Yeah.

- Really?

I don't really know what he's doing.

I feel like, honestly,

Torreto and them are doing more.

- More demons.

- More demons.

- The fast family, yeah.

- 'Cause he just has a lot of money is all I know, really.

- He's just trying to protect his illegal drug operation.

- And there, just out there.

- And they're just like, we want that money.

- It feels like in this movie,

the rock's more the villain than the actual villain.

Like, you care more about the dynamic between him

against the other.

- Yeah, I guess so.

Yeah, it just all seems completely uneven to me.

(laughs)

I've got, you've got the rock that's chasing them

for doing like destroying stuff

because they're trying to get this other bad guy's money.

But they're also technically bad guys.

But also the rock technically,

he's also a bad guy because he's not doing legal stuff at all.

- So you just got like, one bad guy going after another bad guy

that's also got another bad guy going after the another bad guy

and then they end up teaming up at some point.

- Yeah, everyone's bad.

- Everybody just sucks.

- Just everyone's the worst.

- I mean, how much closer to real life though, right?

You know, none of them are good.

- So, I'm realistic.

- It is interesting that they also again, in this movie,

the cops will A, a Hobbs is supposed to be the good cop,

but we see him doing all kinds of not good stuff.

- Right.

- B, apparently the entire Brazil police force in Rio

is corrupt except for Elena and her and my ex are smile.

So it just goes back to the functioning police department

that we keep talking about.

- That's what I was wondering as well.

How is it that the entire government was corrupt

except those couple people that were destroying a lot of things?

- Yeah.

- So you also noticed that they don't know how to slow down

for like bumps in the road.

- But they're at the whole movie, I'm so mad

'cause I'm like, just slow down on it, dips,

'cause all of a sudden they're found--

- It's fast and furious.

- Yeah, it was part of--

- I don't know.

- You don't need to slow down on the F Family.

- It's because they kept bouncing.

I was like, "That whole movie, I was like, man."

I was like, "Is he or the Rose are just like very bumpy there

or are they just like to jump?"

- Yeah, it's more fun to do.

- It was, yeah.

- Yeah.

- I would put this villain, so I guess it would be my

third place because Carter from the second movie,

I would still put him as two.

Braga, I would put more than this guy from the fourth movie.

I thought DK and the villain from the first movie,

like, were lame.

So I would put this guy above them

'cause I think he's lame but not as lame as the other two.

- Honestly, this guy is probably last place for me.

- Last place, okay.

'Cause he's not doing anything maniacal to anybody.

- He's just a guy trying to make an dishonest living.

- I mean, he's terrible.

And he's killing people,

but I'm not seeing anybody that I care about getting killed.

- Yeah, so he's probably fine.

- So, so.

- This villain in this movie, I was kind of confused

a little bit on who really was the real villain between them.

Because you had the boss man.

- Yep.

- We never drove a car once.

- Nope.

- Got in the back of like a Volkswagen.

But was he really the main villain?

Or was it the guy who chased him around leading the guy?

See, I was like, he did have a henchman.

- Yeah, yeah, I felt so bad for that henchman

because he never had a successful anything

for the whole movie.

'Cause it was like, you never really saw the main guy

and it was then when he was checking his money.

- Yeah.

- I don't know, they're kind of, I love the movie.

I like the whole idea, but they're kind of a little bit low

for me because they really do much.

The henchman did a lot more.

And for me, for some weird reason,

I feel like he was more of the villain the whole time anyway.

- Yeah, he definitely was the one you wanted to.

- And how he's like, he never got shot like eight times.

Like, that's what I was thinking when I was watching

like he was constantly didn't die

or contribute anything to the fire fight.

Like he just shows up like, man,

everyone's dead again.

- Whoops.

- Here's the deal.

I used to say five was my absolute favorite.

And it was only because of how hype you get

when you see all the characters come back.

And then I feel like I've seen it seven or eight times

at this point and I don't have the hype anymore.

And so then when you take that hype out

and we start thinking about the villains,

like you were talking about the overall plot,

and it's like, it's not as good as some of the later movies,

six and seven specifically,

but from what we've seen already,

I'm gonna put it as my number one.

So that's my number one for now,

but I'm probably gonna change it.

I'll be honest.

- Oh come on.

Ah, we're all looking at me.

It's probably gonna do, did you do your whole rating?

Are you just saying that this is gonna be a good one?

- Well, I mean, I guess I can tell people

currently my whole rating is five, two, four, one, and three,

and five is the top.

- Okay, cool.

'Cause mine's pretty close actually,

but instead of mine being first for five,

I still like two better, so minus two, five, four, one, three.

- Love it.

Two is a good movie.

I feel like not enough people appreciate two.

- I like two fast, two furious.

- Two is good.

- Yeah.

It was nostalgic feeling.

- Well mine is completely different.

(laughing)

Great, that's why I wanna have you.

So number three, so you're drifting, number one for me.

Love it.

And then I have a tie for second.

It's too hard for me to bake for 12.

- Too hard to difficult to bake.

- Yeah.

- It was that?

- Difficult is what, I don't know what it is.

Too hard to furious, I don't know.

- Sure.

- I can't pick between two and five.

They're both really good.

I love two because I love all the bands that are back and forth

and I love the story one.

- Right.

- But five here just had like everything.

- Yeah.

- Exactly.

- I guess I would probably put two as my second.

- Okay.

- Just because I love both their characters

and I liked everything.

So it would be five, maybe one and then four.

I'd just not a big fan of four,

but probably my least favorite of all of my scene.

It's just, I don't know.

- Yeah, it's just fun.

- Not my favorite.

- I think they tried to go dark with four

and it just did not work.

- Yeah.

- I'm, I kinda like, I kinda like dark stuff sometimes.

So that's probably why it's a little bit closer to that.

- Okay up there.

- It's a hand for me.

- It can't work but I just think it.

- Yeah.

- Yeah for some reason for me it didn't work.

I mean, four is in the middle for me technically so.

- Yeah.

- Yes.

It might be closer to the beginning though, the more we go.

But I don't know, it might be closer to the back.

And maybe I might reorganize everything by the end.

- Now we'll say, I mean five.

I guess I, I guess I'm gonna move five to two.

- Okay.

- To those who go down the three.

- Okay.

- 'Cause five made me question a little bit

about Tokyo Drift.

I still love Tokyo Drift, but five is just that good.

- Okay.

- I think the action everything,

- Yeah you did say that.

- Yeah.

- That makes sense.

- Definitely, you know, jumped up.

I mean, I thought it was, it was valid.

Or maybe you're growing up and when you look at three,

you're like,

- Oh man, I'm just kidding.

- I'm just kidding.

- You're growing up.

- So, well I do appreciate your all the rankings

and our rankings and as always for everyone watching

or listening or even just seeing if this is like a random

reel that pops up like, we love hearing your ratings.

That's an ongoing deal that have going on

for the whole 10 movies.

And so we have had over 50 people vote.

And so currently, I don't remember all the rankings,

but I do know number one in our fan votes is number one.

So, the fast and the furious is got a pretty highly,

but not too far under it is fast five.

Tokyo Drift, I'm sorry to say people said was four,

but when we started, they were saying it was three.

So that's kind of cool.

I mean, excuse me, they were saying it was number one.

And then right at the bottom,

like currently 10 is number nine and nine is number 10,

but they keep switching.

Nobody seems to be,

that's frequently getting the one or two points

versus like the 10 or nine or two.

- They're too close together and proximity probably.

- Yeah, also I think, we'll see,

but like I think since they're the latest movies,

people haven't like gotten into them.

- Yeah, that's probably, yeah.

- 'Cause I haven't gotten far down yet.

So, but yeah.

- Next we have Bailey's Best Bits.

- So this is called Bailey's Best Bits.

As you guys know, if you don't know,

it is my favorite or more something of,

something that stuck out to me practically in the movie.

And I named three scenes and they try to pick

which one is what the one that stuck out to me the most

practically.

I'm gonna go ahead and tell you actually,

I did tell Parker that I wasn't gonna tell you what it's about,

but it's about the most unbelievable moments.

But we've already kind of established

that this movie is explosions.

- I love it.

- That's literally what it is.

So I'm going to read them.

You've got, like we expressed,

Mia being pregnant, jumping off of buildings and through things.

- Amazing.

- Yep.

- Supposedly she's fine, supposedly the baby's still there.

And then she ends up having a big old bump

at the end of things, even though in the beginning she

literally wasn't showing it all.

Don't know how long of time frame

that they went through with all that, but yeah.

So she was jumping off of buildings and stuff.

- I don't know, fast and furious directors

like know a lot about women and women.

- Yeah, like, yeah, I mean a few days on the run,

you probably are half pregnant.

- It was like, to the size of like a camel.

(laughing)

I don't like this one.

Anyways, then you've got Hobbs and Serritos fight

where it's like constantly twirling around the camera effects

different angles where like they're punching each other

and it lasts for a good like five minutes practically

and then it doesn't end pretty much.

And then you've got the drive through Brazil

where they are destroying everything in their path

with the bank thing into another bank

and then all of the streets and yeah.

- Yeah, so those are the three.

What do y'all think?

And I think this one's pretty good actually.

I think this is a good one.

- Oh, it's a good one.

Those are all great scenes, very unbelievable.

But I'm gonna go with my gut which is saying

Mia's pregnancy, it's a little unbelievable.

There's a lot of stuff and then also that she's successfully

by the end of one of the next movies has the baby.

It's like, okay, I don't know.

And we had some good laughs about that on the podcast.

So that's gonna be my answer.

- I think that it's too obvious of like heartaches.

- Right.

- So I'm also, that's what I'm gonna change it up.

I'm gonna go with the fight.

- To be fair, she did like, she almost busted a blood vessel

but in previous episodes, she was messing with us.

- Yeah, I don't so.

- That's what that was.

- I think I'm gonna go with the fight

between Domenhops, the answer I'm gonna go with.

- Dang, both y'all wrong.

- You went with the most realistic answer.

It's literally them going through the city

and destroying everything in their path

with two cars that are carrying this giant safe.

- Yeah.

- That definitely two cars cannot carry.

There's no way, absolutely no way.

- But before we enter a show,
